What are experimental features?
Experimental features are new, developing features in the NUNAV Navigation App. They offer users the opportunity to test innovative features early before they are officially integrated into the app. Since these features are still in the testing phase, they may change or be removed in future versions.
Where can I find the experimental features?
The experimental features can be enabled or disabled in the app settings of NUNAV Navigation. Depending on the operating system, the names and settings may vary slightly:
-
iOS: Under "Settings" -> "Experimental Features"
-
Android: Under "Settings" -> "Experimental Features"
Current experimental features
Here are some of the currently available experimental features:
1. Show emergency lane warning
-
This feature displays a warning during navigation when an emergency lane is needed.
-
A restart of the app is required after enabling this option.
-
Available on Android.
2. Maximum driving speed
-
This feature allows a maximum speed to be set for route calculation.
-
NUNAV takes this speed into account and adjusts the route and estimated arrival time accordingly.
-
Especially useful for users of electric vehicles to optimize energy consumption.
-
Available on iOS.
Important notes
-
Since these are experimental features, unexpected behavior or errors may occur.
-
The features may change or be removed in future updates.
-
Feedback on the use of experimental features helps to further improve the app.
