This article provides an overview of which details of your tour data can be processed by us.
Required Data
To optimize your tour, the following information is required:
- ZIP Code
- City
- Street
- House Number
Example:
ZIP Code | City | Street | House Number |
30890 | Barsinghausen | Marktstraße | 11 |
30149 | Hannover | Hollerithallee | 17 |
All the following details can improve the result of your tour optimization but are optional:
Time Windows
In addition to your address data, you can assign an individual time window to each of your stops or assign them to a specific vehicle (driver). This way, you can adhere to the scheduled appointments and times at your stop.
When entering the time windows, it is important to specify them in a certain format, as shown in the two examples in the table below:
- Time Window (from)
- Time Window (to)
Time Window (from) |
Time Window (to) |
08:15 | 17:15 |
Service Time
Service time refers to the time your driver needs for all administrative tasks at a stop. This includes, for example:
- Maneuvering the vehicle
- Properly parking the vehicle
- Written documentation
The service time is not dependent on the number of parcels or packages.
Service Time |
00:01:00 (1 minute) |
00:02:30 (2.5 minutes) |
Duration
Duration refers to the time your driver needs to deliver a parcel or package. The duration includes only the delivery itself; everything else is assigned to the service time.
Thus, the duration depends on the number of parcels or packages.
The total delivery time at a stop is calculated as follows:
Total Delivery Time = Service Time + Duration * Parcels
How can I assign "Service Time" and "Duration"?
The details "Service Time" and "Duration" can be found within the data import under the menu items Delivery and Pickup.
The time specifications are in the format hh:mm:ss.
Bind Stop to Vehicle
You also have the option to assign a stop to a vehicle (driver) of your choice. This is always useful if you want to plan multiple tours with NUNAV Courier. In this example, we use vehicle numbers 1 and 2:
- Vehicle Number
ZIP Code | City | Street | House Number | Vehicle Number |
30890 | Barsinghausen | Marktstraße | 11 | 1 |
30149 | Hannover | Hollerithallee | 17 | 2 |
30149 | Hannover | Ziegeleiweg | 13 | 2 |
20095 | Hamburg | Jungfernstieg | 2 | 1 |
10115 | Berlin | Dirksenstraße | 23 | 1 |
Note:
To assign stops to a vehicle without the planning assistant, you have two options. You can use "Drag & Drop" or specify the vehicle number (usually 1) in the Excel file.
Personal Information
Of course, it is also possible to supplement your stops with the following personal information:
If you would like to include the barcode with your package, we offer you the option to do so. Optionally, it is possible to save additional information about the stop (e.g., the drop-off location), which is visible to the driver during delivery. Additionally, we offer you the option to enter information about the recipient.

After you have successfully saved your tour data in an Excel file, you can convert it into a CSV file. Please read the related article for this.
