What hardware do I need to use NUNAV Courier?

In the following article we would like to give you an overview of the things we recommend for the use of NUNAV Courier. The following hardware components have proven to be extremely useful over the past years.

When purchasing, please keep in mind that these things are working tools.
After all, craftsmen buy quality tools instead of a new cordless screwdriver every week.
Please don't save on the wrong end here.

• Holder
• Charging adapter
• SIM card with data volume

Tablet

We recommend an Android device with at least an 8 inch screen diagonal. You can find the current Android version requirement here.
Please make sure it is a branded device (Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, ASUS,...). Our experience is, the cheap NoName devices are equipped with cheap GPS chips and therefore not suitable for navigation use.

NUNAV Courier is not available for iOS devices.

Mount

Please choose between a variant for the windshield or the air vent.

Charging adapter

Please make sure to use 2 amps of charging current. The tablet consumes power throughout the tour. Without a sufficient power supply, the tablet will not make it through the entire workday.

SIM card with data volume

Here it is advisable to book a data card with the major providers. Only then will you always have sufficient network coverage.
Experience shows that a volume of around 2 gigabytes per month is required.
