Which Hardware do I need to use NUNAV Courier?

In the following article we would like to give you an overview of the things we recommend for the use of NUNAV Courier. The following hardware components have proven to be very useful in recent years.

Please remember when purchasing these items that they are work equipment.
After all, craftsmen also buy quality tools instead of a new cordless screwdriver every week.
Please do not save money at the wrong end.

• Fixture
• Charging adapter
• SIM card with data volume

Tablet

We recommend an Android device with at least 8 inch screen diagonal. The current requirements for the Android version can be found here.
Please make sure that it is a branded device (Samsung, Huawei, Lenovo, ASUS, ...). Our experience is, the cheap NoName devices are equipped with cheap GPS chips and therefore not suitable for navigation applications.

NUNAV Courier is not available for iOS devices.

Fixture

Please choose between a variant for the car windshield or the ventilation slot.

Charging adapter

Please pay attention to 2 amps charging current. The tablet will consume power for the entire tour. Without a sufficient power supply, the tablet will not last the entire working day.

SIM card with data volume

Here it is recommended to book a data card with the major providers. Only then will you always have sufficient network coverage.
Experience shows that a volume of about 2 gigabytes per month is required.
