NUNAV Courier offers you the possibility to map specifications of your drivers and use them for route optimization.
You can store different data for each driver, which we will explain in the next sections. Afterwards, you will learn how to create or delete a driver.
The driver ID is automatically assigned by the system.
The name can be used to specify the driver ID more precisely, e.g. by selecting a personal form of address.
With the help of the availability calendar, rules with exact dates and times can be stored. In addition, it is possible to enter absences. More information about the availability rules will be available here soon.
Latest departure time
With the deposit of a latest departure time the optimization can be limited in time. It specifies the latest time by which the driver leaves the depot. This time is taken into account in the calculation of the optimal tour sequence, so that the first stop to be approached is after the latest departure time.
Maximum working time
The maximum working time specifies the maximum time the driver has available for a planning day. Generally, a legal working time of 8 hours is preset.
In addition to the maximum working time, you can specify a time for maximum overtime. This will be taken into account when optimizing the tours.
You have the possibility to define breaks for your drivers. Add break rules and define the duration as well as specific break intervals.
Qualifications can be assigned to drivers and orders. An order with a qualification can only be executed by a driver who has this qualification. During automatic route planning, the planning assistant takes into account that drivers only receive orders whose qualifications they possess.
Determine which orders are intended for which driver. For example, you can allow certain orders to be intended only for certain drivers.
Schedule multiple shifts
Information on this will follow shortly.
Here you can store additional driver information.
