How do I create and manage user role groups?

Parking spaces always belong to a group. This can also consist of just a single parking space.

A user role group is defined by the following characteristics:

• A vehicle type is assigned to it (e.g., "Car")
• A designation is assigned to it (e.g., "Visitor")
• A "Manual Parking Selection" by the end user is possible (checkbox)

1. Create a User Role Group

Under the "Navigation" tab, new user role groups can be created and managed. To create a new user role group, click on the blue plus symbol.

2. Define User Type

First, the user type is determined by clicking on the corresponding vehicle icon. This is crucial for which routing the navigation app uses. For example, trucks will receive different route suggestions due to, e.g., height restrictions than cars. There are 3 usage types to choose from.

• Car (NUNAV Navigation)

• Bus (NUNAV Bus) – Height characteristics of the vehicle are considered in routing

• Truck (NUNAV Trucks) – Height characteristics of the vehicle are considered in routing

3. Define User Role

In the field below, you can define and add any "User Role". Please confirm the user role with the plus button.

4. Manual Parking Selection

The user role group can be assigned a "Manual Parking Selection". This gives end users in the app the option to select a created parking space from the list and be navigated there.
