NUNAV Courier offers you the ability to map your drivers' specifications and use them for route optimization.
You can store various data for each individual driver, which we will explain in the following sections. Afterwards, you will learn how to add or delete a driver.
Driver ID
The driver ID is automatically assigned by the system.
Name
The name can be used to specify the driver ID more precisely, for example by choosing a personal salutation.
Availability
With the availability calendar, rules with precise date and time specifications can be stored. Additionally, absences can be recorded. More information on availability rules will be available here shortly.
Latest Departure Time
By setting a latest departure time, the optimization can be time-restricted. It indicates the latest time by which the driver leaves the depot. This time is considered in the calculation of the optimal tour sequence, so that the first stop to be approached is after the latest departure time.
Maximum Working Time
The maximum working time specifies the time the driver is available for a planning day. A statutory working time of 8 hours is generically preset.
Maximum Overtime
In addition to the maximum working time, you can set a time for maximum overtime. This is considered in the optimization of the tours.
Breaks
You have the option to record breaks for your drivers. Add break rules and determine the duration and specific break intervals.
Qualifications
Qualifications can be assigned to drivers and orders. An order with a qualification can only be executed by a driver who possesses this qualification. The planning assistant ensures in the automatic route planning that drivers only receive orders for which they have the qualifications.
Vehicle Restrictions
Determine which orders are intended for which driver. For example, you can allow certain orders to be designated only for specific drivers.
Schedule Multiple Shifts
Information on this will follow shortly.
Data
Here you can store additional driver information.
