⚙️ - Display & Map Explained

In the Display & Map section, you can set how the map is displayed in NUNAV Courier and which additional information is shown.

Appearance

Light

The app is permanently displayed in light mode.

Dark

The app is permanently displayed in dark mode.

Automatic

NUNAV Courier automatically adopts your device's appearance and switches between light and dark mode depending on the system settings.

Map Settings

Show Parking Spaces

Displays parking spaces on the map. This can be helpful when looking for a parking spot near a stop during your tour.

3D Buildings

Buildings are displayed in three dimensions, if available. This makes orientation easier, especially in city centers.

On older devices, disabling 3D buildings can improve display performance.

House Numbers

Displays house numbers on the map, making it easier to find the correct stop.

Update Map Cache

This function deletes the locally stored map cache.

When you next open the map, NUNAV Courier will automatically download the required map data again.

This can be helpful if map data is displayed incorrectly or outdated information is still shown after a map update.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Will my tours be removed when I delete the map cache?

No. Deleting the map cache only affects locally stored map data. Your tours and settings remain intact.

When should I update the map cache?

If map data is displayed incorrectly or you suspect that outdated map information is being used.

Does the appearance affect navigation?

No. The setting only changes the display of the user interface and the map.
