Can I avoid toll roads in NUNAV Navigation?

Yes – in NUNAV Navigation, it is possible to avoid toll roads when calculating routes.

Here’s how it works:

• Open the route overview (“Route preview”)
• Tap on “Avoid”
• Enable the option “Avoid Tolls”

After that, the route will be calculated to avoid toll roads whenever possible.

Important Note

Avoiding toll roads may lead to longer travel times or a different route. Depending on the region, certain sections may still be used if no reasonable alternative is available.

What counts as a toll road?

Toll roads are roads or sections of roads for which fees are charged for use – for example, highways, bridges, or tunnels in certain countries.

Why is this option available?

With this setting, you can adjust your route to personal preferences or cost aspects. Our routing still takes current traffic conditions into account and selects the best possible alternative.
