NUNAV is the official navigation solution for traveling to Rock am Ring. The app guides you according to your ticket or camping category on the fastest route to a suitable parking lot or the correct entrance.
The available parking areas and the current traffic situation are considered in real-time throughout the festival weekend to make the journey as efficient as possible.
Important: Always search for the event again
Please search for the event “Rock am Ring” again in the NUNAV app before departure and start navigation via the official event entry with the Rock am Ring logo.
Do not start from “Recently visited destinations”
Please do not use entries from the list of recently visited destinations.
For event destinations like Rock am Ring, additional information about the selected ticket or camping category is required.
If this information is not correctly transmitted, a valid event route cannot be calculated.
Therefore, always search for the event again via the search in NUNAV and then select your ticket or camping category.

After selecting your category, you will automatically receive the appropriate route.
Do I have to select my parking spot myself?
No.
For many ticket and camping categories, visitors do not select a specific parking spot.
NUNAV and the event logistics will automatically assign you a suitable parking spot based on your ticket category, arrival time, current traffic situation, and the occupancy of the areas.
This particularly applies to categories like:
- GENERAL
- GREEN
- CAR & TENT
Therefore, it may happen that people with the same ticket category are directed to different parking areas.
Please always follow the route suggested by NUNAV and the instructions on site.
Why can't I select A5e, A5f, or another specific parking spot?
This is normal.
For categories like Car & Tent, General Camping, or Green Camping, a specific parking spot is usually not selected.
The actual assignment is dynamically managed by the event logistics and NUNAV, considering factors such as the current traffic situation, area occupancy, and available capacity.
As a result, you may be directed to a different parking area than friends with the same ticket category.
Please follow the suggested route in NUNAV and the instructions on site in this case.
Why do my friends receive a different route?
This is completely normal.
NUNAV dynamically distributes traffic across different entrances and parking areas to avoid congestion and make the journey as efficient as possible for all visitors.
Therefore, different vehicles may receive different routes even if they have the same destination region.
Why shouldn't I navigate directly to Nürburgring?
We strongly advise against it.
The event navigation considers the entrances, parking concepts, and traffic measures provided by the organizer. Direct navigation to Nürburgring may result in not reaching the correct entrance.
Please use only the official Rock am Ring event in NUNAV for your journey.
Why shouldn't I navigate directly to my parking spot?
Even if you already know your parking spot, we recommend always using the official Rock am Ring event in NUNAV.
Direct navigation to a parking spot only considers generally known road closures and traffic rules.
The specific traffic management for Rock am Ring cannot be considered this way. This includes, for example:
- dynamic access regulations
- temporary closures of individual entrances
- changed traffic routes
- current occupancy of parking areas
- temporarily closed or already filled parking spots
- traffic-dependent adjustments of travel routes
The event navigation in NUNAV continuously considers this information and can adjust the route to the current situation at any time.
This way, you will not necessarily be guided on the shortest, but on the fastest and most sensible route for the current traffic situation to your designated parking spot.
Therefore, always use the official Rock am Ring event in NUNAV for your journey and not direct navigation to a single parking spot.
Can I also use Google Maps or Apple Maps?
No.
Please do not use other navigation apps like Google Maps or Apple Maps for your journey.
The entrances and parking areas for Rock am Ring are specifically controlled for the event. Other navigation systems do not know these regulations and may lead you through unsuitable or closed entrances.
Why am I not getting a route?
If Rock am Ring is opened from the list of recently visited destinations, important information about the ticket or camping category may be missing.
In this case, a valid event route cannot be calculated.
Please search for the event again via the search in NUNAV or use the official event link and then select your category again.

iPhone: Event not found
We are currently aware of an issue on some iPhones.
If the 12-hour time format (AM/PM) is enabled on the device, it may happen that:
- the event does not appear in the search,
- QR codes do not work,
- direct event links cannot be opened.
Please switch the time format to 24 hours in this case:
- Open Settings
- Select General
- Open Date & Time
- Enable 24-Hour Time
Then restart NUNAV and search for the event again.
Always search for the event again

Opening hours
The parking and camping areas open from Wednesday, 03.06.2026, around 12:00 PM.
Departure must be completed by Monday, 08.06.2026, at 12:00 PM.
Notes on Caravan Camping and Car & Tent
Travel to Caravan Camping and Car & Tent Camping is only possible with the corresponding badge and valid camping tickets.
Luggage transport
Unloading luggage with the vehicle directly at the camping areas is generally not possible, as parking and camping areas are separate.
Exceptions apply to:
- CAR & TENT
- CARAVAN
- UTOPIA STAGE CAMPING
- EXPERIENCE CAMPING
For these areas, special drop-off zones are available near the check-ins.
Drop-off and pick-up
If you are being dropped off or picked up, please use only the designated Kiss & Ride areas.
On-site rules
Please always follow the instructions of:
- Police
- Security personnel
- Event staff
- official signage on site
These always take precedence over navigation instructions.
