You want to use the NUNAV App, but your device cannot find the current location. Please check the following points:
- Have you enabled GPS?
- Are you outdoors? Buildings weaken the signal.
- Does restarting the device help?
- Have you tried standing still for a moment? New devices sometimes take a few minutes to determine the location correctly for the first time.
- Does your device even have a GPS receiver? More on this in the next section.
Special Case with Tablets
Many tablets do not have a GPS module, especially the Wi-Fi-only models without a SIM card slot. They determine their position only roughly via the network and cannot follow the route. If the tablet is also connected to the internet via a mobile hotspot, even this rough location is lost.
Typical scenario: The route is calculated, but the location point remains permanently at the starting point afterward. This makes sense: The route calculation runs over the internet and therefore works. The navigation afterward requires a continuous GPS signal.
How to Check in One Minute
Open another map application on the same device and take a few steps outdoors.
- The location point does not move there either: The device lacks GPS. No setting in the app will help – you need a device with a GPS receiver. Tablets usually have it only in models with a SIM card slot, while a smartphone always has it.
- The location point moves: Then it's not the device. Please contact us, preferably with a screenshot.
