What does "clear map cache" mean in the NUNAV app?

The NUNAV app stores certain map data locally on your device to make the display faster the next time you open it. This cache is called the map cache.

📌 When should I clear the map cache?

Clearing the map cache can help if:

• the map shows outdated content (e.g., old traffic routes)
• new roads or changes are not visible
• there are display errors or graphical issues

🧼 What happens when clearing?

When clearing the map cache, only the cached map data is removed.
Your favorites, settings, etc., remain completely intact.

🛠️ Where can I find the function?

• iOS: Settings → “Display & Map” → at the very bottom: Clear map cache
• Android: Settings → “Appearance & Map” → at the very bottom: Clear map cache

After clearing, the map will be reloaded – this may take a little longer on the first start.
