Can I plan a route in NUNAV without starting immediately?

Yes – and it's actually quite simple!

In the NUNAV Navigation App, you can freely choose both the destination and starting address. The app will then show you a complete route preview – including closures, traffic, and detours.

🔢 How it works:

1️⃣ Open the app & enter the destination address

Simply enter the destination, e.g., “Daimlerstraße 2, Rheine”

2️⃣ Optional: Adjust the starting address

Tap on the “My Location” field and enter a different address (e.g., “Lidl, Auricher Straße 98”) to see a preview from there.

✅ You will then receive a complete route from the entered starting point, even if you are located elsewhere.

3️⃣ Check the map – without driving

Even without a route preview or active navigation, you can freely explore the map. You will always see:

• 🛑 Construction sites and closures
• 🚦 Current traffic conditions

🧠 Good to know:

• The blue dot shows your actual GPS location – regardless of where you plan the route from.
• This is particularly useful for advance planning, e.g., the night before a trip.

📱 Tip:

The feature also works with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay – once you start driving, NUNAV automatically takes over navigation from the planned starting point.
