How do I create a road section and a detour?

Road sections and associated detours are defined to redirect the end user in case of a disruption on the respective section.

1. New Section

To define a new road section, click on + New Detour.

2. Draw Road Section

Define a name for the road section. Then click on the route icon and start drawing the road section on the map. Double-click on the last point to turn the section green. Confirm it by clicking on the gray checkmark.

3. Draw Detour

Click on the gray plus symbol next to "Add Detour". Then define a name and draw the detour route on the map. Confirm again with the gray checkmark.

4. Detour Active

If a disruption occurs in the area of the defined road section (yellow), the detour (red) would become active and direct the end users to the corresponding road.
