Corridors are intended for different user roles and define primary access routes. For arrival concepts at major events, it may be specified that certain roads should not be used. For other events, these roads may be officially approved by the traffic authority, and there is the possibility to make these roads available to NUNAV users. Primary access and exit routes can be specifically created for certain user groups.
1. Display all corridors
The tab to display all already created corridors is located under the events tab. A new corridor is created with the +Corridor button.
2. Name the corridor
A name must be assigned to the corridor. This can consist of the event name, the direction, the vehicle type, and the user role, for example.
Furthermore, the "state" of the corridor is determined. More precisely, a corridor can be managed and activated or deactivated. The "type" is also determined. The setup process is completed by clicking the blue save icon.
3. Draw the corridor
The corridor is drawn using the route icon. Select an area outside the secondary region. The yellow dashed line can now be drawn over the roads that are to be defined as a corridor.
4. Draw the secondary region
Next, an area is drawn on the map (yellow lines) within which the roads should not be used by NUNAV users.
By clicking on the starting point, the area is marked red and is now set.
5. Confirm the corridor
Subsequently, you create another area within the secondary region where, for example, the target parking spaces are located. Save the region with the blue save icon.
If a corridor is determined for exactly one parking space, the endpoint of the corridor should approximately match the position of the parking space.
