Currently, NUNAV Navigation uses so-called "environment caching".
This means that only the environmental data of your last destinations are stored. After the maximum capacity of 200 MB is exceeded, the environmental data of the "least visited destinations" will be released for the environmental data of new destinations. This way, you only load the map material you really need and can always navigate with the current map.
Due to this "environment caching," data consumption is naturally significantly lower for shorter or recurring routes (such as your commute) than if you drive from Hamburg to Munich today and from Munich to Berlin tomorrow. On these routes, NUNAV will naturally load more real-time data as more map material is needed.
