Currently, NUNAV Navigation uses a so-called "environment caching."
This means that only the environmental data of your last destinations are stored. Once the maximum capacity of 200 MB is exceeded, the environmental data of the "least visited destinations" are released for the environmental data of new destinations. This way, you only download the map material you really need and can always navigate with the current map.
Due to this "environment caching," data consumption is naturally significantly lower for shorter or recurring routes (such as your commute) than if you travel from Hamburg to Munich today and from Munich to Berlin tomorrow. On these routes, NUNAV will naturally load more real-time data, as more map material is needed.
