What is the significance of the different colours on my route?

The current route in NUNAV is displayed as a colored line.
This line can have different colors, which are explained in the following lines.

Standard Route Coloring

The default setting represents the traffic flow:

blue = normal traffic
yellow = slower than normal traffic
red = significantly slower than normal traffic

With this representation, you can already see in advance if and where the traffic flow on your route is not so good.

Rainbow Route

Alternatively, you have the option to color the line with the route speed. We call this setting "Rainbow Route". This represents the actual speed driven on this section. Therefore, the transitions of the color gradients are smooth. This representation gives you a better overview of which sections are driven quickly or slowly. However, with this view, you do not get an exact overview of the traffic flow on your route.

Both representations have their advantages, choose your favorite yourself. We will show you how to make the changes.
